Hugh Jenkins and Stephanie Ross have worked in collaboration since 1996, focusing on a highly colored series of bowls and vases. Hugh Jenkins has worked in glass since 1969, with his first introduction to the process at the legendary "Foundry" in Honolulu. Jenkins brought glass to the Punahou School Art Department, where he taught for many years. He also teaches from time to time at the Penland School in North Carolina. Stephanie Ross attended California College of Arts and Crafts, and went on to earn her masters in Art Education at UH Manoa. Stephanie Ross continues to teach in her own studio. She and Hugh live on the Big Island where they have built their own foundry. They are invited artists for the prestigious 2002 Hawaii Craftsmen's Show.
