I started painting in 1960, studying with Bay Area artists Randy Seigriest, Anne O'Hanlon and others. In the past my work was influenced by spending time in the American Southwest. Currently my paintings have developed an unintentional Eastern mood. I believe this to be my best work to date. I strive for texture, form, color and most of all a serene reflective mood.
